The Kenosha YMCA Summer Program at Columbus Park is open to students entering 1st–5th grade and features swimming, field trips, STEAM activities, games, crafts, and more!

Unfortunately, today's rain meant our Summer Camp kids had to miss their field trip to the Kingfish game. ☔⚾

But they didn't let that dampen their spirits! Campers spent the morning getting creative, crafting colorful paper chains to brighten up the conference room and making the most of a rainy day together. 💙

𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚® 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗠𝗖𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺!
Over the past 12 weeks, Verena, Shawn, Tammy, Rebecca, and Marsha (plus Lori - not pictured) worked the program twice a week and improved their strength, endurance, balance and overall well being.
LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA is an evidence-based program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis.

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded an $80,000 grant from YMCA of the USA to expand year-round food access programs for children, teens, and families throughout Kenosha County. This funding will help strengthen anti-hunger initiatives, support rural meal distribution, provide weekend meals, expand nutrition education, and increase outreach to families who need it most.

Thanks to partnerships like The Sharing Center and support from Y-USA, the Y is helping ensure that more children have access to nutritious meals and caring connections all year long.

🏀 From Y kid to role model.

Longtime Kenosha YMCA member Sidney Cooks stopped by today to give her cousin, an incoming freshman, a few basketball tips and words of encouragement.

A Division I standout, professional basketball player and USA Basketball athlete, Sidney has been part of the Y family since she was about 7 years old. We love seeing Y kids grow up and come back to inspire the next generation. 💙
