Jessica came to me ready to make a change and put herself first 💕 She was ready to start taking care of her body and wanted to show herself that she could do it!
Ohhhh man she was right!! This girl has been on top of it since day 1 and has put every ounce of effort in each day 💕 I couldn’t be more proud to work with such a kind hearted person with an AMAZING work ethic.
Jessica, I’m so proud of you for prioritizing yourself and kept working so damn hard. It has been such a blessing being a part of your journey, and I can’t wait to see all of the AMAZING things you’re going to accomplish from here 💕

I wanted to share my client Michelle’s progress. She started out at 355lbs and now she is down to 194. Nothing but consistent effort and patience on her end.

I wanted to use this post to talk about one of the hardest aspects of seeing progress that we want it to just overall being healthier in general. Meal prep is something that a lot of people stuggle with. The aspects that people struggle with are eating the proper amounts “when do I consume food, what are my limitations based off of allergies intolerances or possible restrictions or lifestyle choices etc. When do I even have time to eat, how do I know what is too much or too little, how do I know if it’s working or not?” This example right here is when over to my client and friend Nina and her Husband’s apartment. She was intimidated at first with the idea of meal prep with all the concerns above. I helped weigh everything out, cooked the meat of her choice, threw in some broccoli that she also chose, seasoned it all then it was all laid out like you see here. Now it doesn’t just have to be chicken rice and broccoli, it can be many foods. And it doesn’t have to look this organized, but organization can help out tremendously when trying to build healthier habbits. There is a factor of: the cleaner the food choices the more bland it can come across but that’s where balance comes into play. It’s all about finding the correct amount based off our average daily activity of how much or little we are or aren’t doing. And it is absolutely ok to have something that may not be the best thing for you once in awhile, just in controlled moderation. That way you don’t set unrealistic or unhealthy expectations that make your doubt yourself, your effort and what you are doing. This is something Achaia Sigel and I go over all of our clients with or anyone who wants some advice in the right direction.
I know it’s easier said then done but if you think about it, we only have one body, one life and I’ll come back around to this. A lot of us get caught up into our jobs, our work, deadlines, traffic, long office hours etc so we tend to neglect ourselves in terms of taking care of our body’s and mind’s. We don’t always want to go to work, but we do it anyways right? Because we have the mindset that we have to do it, and from there it just becomes standard daily routine whether we want to or not and without conscious thought of it. So why can’t we apply that same mindset when it comes to taking care of ourselves? It’s easier said then done, but if we can learn how to make it routine and stay consistent to apply this, we will do the positive things for ourselves physically and mentally regardless if we want to or not. Just becomes a matter of making it apart of our daily routine then it won’t be a conscious thought, just simply doing. To me our body and mind is the most important thing that we will ever have. If we can’t take care of them it can affect other aspects negatively. Now will every day be perfect, no. Will we always feel good mentally or physically, no. Will some effort be less or more on some days, yes. Is all of that is completely normal, YES. So we all must find our own pace. We all can do it, and if you feel you can’t, never feel hesitant to ask for support from anyone.
These things take time and will never be perfect. It’s best to start out slow and to build from there. Don’t base your self worth on if there is lack of effort or if you are struggling or if you slipped up or if someone else is succeeding where you are struggling. There are healthy ways of holding yourself accountable rather then feeling and telling yourself that you are a failure when you aren’t. In the end it’s all about balance, consistency, trial and error, being realistic, PATIENCE, and trying to make the time for important thing for our own selves.
Food for thought 😄

I wanted to include some testimonies I have had over the years from places I’ve worked prior. Achaia will include hers soon as she keeps building her clientele 😄. If anyone wants to read some experiences over the years hopefully they are reassuring and inspiring.

Today I wanted to share about one of my past clients and who moved over to my private spot to continue working with me for a bit. This is Cheney. Cheney is absolutely one of the hardest working clients I’ve ever come across. All of my clients work hard but she never complains, does the exercises with intense focus, learns quickly and is just an all around nice person. Her humor is very similar to mine which makes us get along instantly. Now I can’t take all the credit, I was a catalyst to help kickstart progress going in the right direction. She now currently works online with Bernardo Castellanos who also does online training and manages Sasquatch Fitness in Sammamish. The man knows his stuff so if you are in the area or would like another personal training perspective I always encourage people to check out more than just one trainer. We all have our own way of helping and you can learn something new from each person.
Cheney has become a really good friend to Achaia and I and we enjoy her company anytime she is around.
