Back by popular demand! You asked, so we’re hiking it again!

Step back in time and join us for Hiking in History: Bulls Bridge Edition.

On Sunday, September 20 at 10:00 AM, we’ll explore the trails surrounding one of Kent’s most iconic landmarks—the historic Bulls Bridge. This guided hike will uncover the stories, legends, and natural beauty woven into the landscape. Co hosted by Kent Historical Society Kent Land Trust, and Kent Parks & Rec, this is an Upper Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area hike.

The hike is just under 3 miles and of moderate difficulty. Come ready to walk, learn, and see this familiar place through a whole new lens!

Bulls Bridge Scenic Area — Route 7 & Bulls Bridge Road

Sturdy footwear recommended, please bring water! Registration is required so we can communicate parking and weather-related changes.

Free and open to the public!

Bring your water bottle, your sturdy shoes, and—most importantly—your curiosity. We’ll bring the history!

Grab your lawn chairs and dinners, and join us and Kent Land Trust THIS THURSDAY, September 10th from 5:30pm - 7pm at the Kent Land Trust Field with Snellback and BluesyLand Band!

This will be our last concert of the season, and we thank everyone who came out to enjoy the music this year!

CASINO DAY AT MOHEGAN SUN!

Join us on a Senior Day Trip to Mohegan Sun on October 7, 2026!

We will be traveling via Northwest Transit. There is no cost to take the bus, but the cost of lunch and other purchases are on the participant.

Participants must be 60+ to attend. Caregivers accompanying a participant of any age can attend.

Hey Kent Land Trust, Did you see the forecast?! RAIN ON A THURSDAY?! AGAIN?! I thought we hit skip Thursday rain storms in the queue!

We made the call to move Thursday's concert with The Kenn Morr Band to the Community House. We hope to see you there Thursday Night!

TONIGHT!!
Experience Emery Park in a whole new light… by moonlight!
Tonight at 7pm, join Kent Parks and Recreation Director Matt Frasher and Kent Land Trust's Melissa Cherniske for a guided Full Moon Hike through Emery Park. Listen for owls, watch the moonlight filter through the trees, and discover how familiar trails take on a whole new personality after dark. The trail is approximately 3 miles (Moderate to difficult trail)

Bring sturdy footwear, a water bottle, and a headlamp—we’ll take care of the light refreshments!
