Y’all, I’d love to be like look at these yummy gummies I made, packed full with ACV, collagen, and mct oil. Truth is they are definitely vinegary! So...yo, anyone ever made ACV gummies that don’t pack a vinegar punch?? 😬

Something about this active recovery flow was just what I needed today. Not just for my body but for my mind. Sometimes getting stronger physically and mentally is found in those quiet moments.

Truth is, and I did our workout together on zoom for accountability, but this time had nothing to do with accountability. It was that extra few minutes we took before starting. It was those precious few minutes where we could say “AHHHHHHH, these are the things stressing my mind” and support each other that way. The workout was just a bonus since we all know those endorphin kicks help stress too. Also having the workout scheduled is a guarantee that I actually walk away from my desk for a break. It might look just like a daily workout, but it’s so much more. ❤️

It’s not safe to work from my place. When you do, lunch break turns into workout time! was hanging with me for the day...so you know that included workout time!

Feels good to check this one off the list! Happy to have a virtual buddy to do it with me! This girl was in need of a good sweat session.

I couldn’t adjust my day to match my girls in other timezones today to virtually workout with them, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t dig within to find that motivation to stay in track! I absolutely love working out “with” my girls, but that solo time is also very important. It’s when you see what you’re made of when nobody is there to motivate you. It’s seeing what you do to fit it in when your day is jam packed. It’s not always easy my friends, but if it were always easy then it also wouldn’t be in the goal list! If you got your sweat on today, let me know and give you a virtual high five!

Accountability comes on so many forms. Today 3 of us were rocking out our workout at the same time, while in 3 different time zones! You don’t always need someone by your side to keep you on point! Thanks Lynda Sullivan and Felicia for helping to keep this girl on track! 😘

Sometimes you just gotta give yourself that pep talk. Tonight it’s a little like this...hey girl, the sooner you workout means the sooner you can get out the door for the night. Plus you’ve got some other ladies to stay accountable with. Also, wouldn’t hurt to pick your room up tomorrow.

The number reason why I started doing Beachbody branded workouts was because of the accountability with the virtual groups and free coach.
I became a coach because I knew it was something I personally saw success with, but also because I wanted to be that inspiration and accountability piece for others.
Just because some of us are coaches, it doesn’t mean that we no longer need accountability or have hard times. I asked my girl if we could zoom workout together today because I wanted that accountability piece. (And lets not lie, I also miss her face!) Not only does coaching give me accountability, but I’ve also met some amazing people that I never would have!

Here’s the deal, there’s 100 days left of 2020. Given this and my scattered workouts because I’ve been hoping on too many planes, it was time to commit to a workout program again! If you know me well or have been following me for a while know this means one thing...today is day 1 of ! It’s time to say yes to 110 days, 30 (or less) minutes a day. 2020 has thrown some major punches at us, it’s time for me to throw one back!
Since I’ve already done this once, I know where to realistically place my goals. It’s time to put them on paper, grab a few accountability buddies, and go! (Any BOD members want to join me??)
Let’s do this we’re doing this, one day at a time!

Typically when people think about transformations that come from working out and eating right, they only think about getting smaller. I say this because of people who have replied with “I’m not trying to lose weight” or those who have felt the need to comment on pics that I’ve been smaller.
My favorite transformation of all is simply me coming into my own skin and the confidence gained. Being genuinely happy is underrated. So many times people skip over the other benefits of adding in physical movement and fueling your body with nutrients.
I’m gonna clap for myself for getting under 200 pounds because I wasn’t healthy then. I was feeling the impacts of being overweight. I’m gonna clap for myself for no longer being the girl who is so focused on the number on the scale because that was the only thing I felt like I could control in my life at that time. I mean just look at my unhappy face on the far right!
I also have my own struggles that affect my ability to lose weight or keep weight off. About 6 years ago, my body decided it was just done making hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. All of these are a huge impact on my ability to gain muscle or drop fat. So you know what? I’m also gonna clap for each muscle gain and each pound I do lose.
But most importantly is I’m finally in a healthy balance. We gotta get our minds right before anything else. I’ll get back to the lower number on the scale, but I’m also not going to burry my pain in workouts and do it because I dislike myself. I’m going to do it for the joy and because I’m blessed with the ability to move my body.
I don’t share any of this to get a “congrats ” or “you look great” but rather an inspiration. We all have it in us. We all have a different version that is right for ourselves. Most importantly, we all have the ability to change our lives. Cheering for you! 😘

I go to one conference and it has me re-evaluating my entire life!! Ok that’s a little bit exaggerated, but they sure do light me up!
A handful of you already knew that I’ve been doing some serious thinking, even thinking about selling everything and living small! (Seriously, anyone want to buy my furniture, clothes, shoes, all of it??)
We all need those check in moments where we look at what our goals were and if they continue to serve us. We need to evaluate where our priorities are. We need to even look at who is in our circle. We can’t go after what we want in life if we have no idea of what we want and the steps it takes to get there.
The plus in life is that we have the ability to live the life we want. The hard part is that we are the ones who have to put in the work to get there. The best part though is that our plan doesn’t have to make sense or be accepted by everyone.
Take care of yourself. Go after the things you want. You’ve got this! Now don’t mind me while I spend some time for me and look at all my life desires and plot out how I’m going to make them a reality!
