Introducing our Sophomore, Allie Bertolina!

Allie plans to attend the University of San Francisco to pursue a degree in Nursing. During her time at COM, she enjoyed building friendships through volleyball and being actively involved in the Sustainability Club, where she contributed to gardening efforts and the growth of the campus Butterfly Waystation.

Her future goals include becoming a registered nurse working in the PACU, developing a home garden and homestead, and continuing to play volleyball recreationally with friends.

Introducing our Sophomore, Taylor Stull!

Taylor plans to attend CSU San Marcos to study Business and is excited to challenge themself by learning to surf and spending more time in the ocean.

They’ve enjoyed playing sports at COM and value the friendships they’ve built along the way

Introducing our Sophomore, Rachel Reher!

Rachel plans to finish her bachelor’s degree at Sonoma State and possibly continue playing beach volleyball at another four-year school. She also hopes to attend grad school to become a Physician Assistant.

She’s enjoyed getting to play volleyball while building connections with new friends and coaches ☺️

She also wants to thank COM for leading her to her ultimate BFF, Rylee Brown, and her wonderful boyfriend, Blake Murray

Introducing our Sophomore, Monica Caruso!

Monica plans to attend UCSB to study Economics while continuing beach volleyball, traveling, and studying abroad.

She’s enjoyed her time playing beach at COM and making memories with her teammates along the way.

Introducing our Sophomore, Hellen Sigaran!

Hellen plans to attend Long Beach State this fall to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Communications. She cherishes the memories she’s made at COM through Beach Volleyball and is grateful for the connections she’s built with her teammates, coaches, and staff.

She also wants to give a special shoutout to her study buddies, Camille and Maillani, for their encouragement both on and off the court, and she’s thankful for all her teammates for their constant support.

In honor of the last day of March, we want to celebrate National Athletic Training Month (NATM), where we recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication athletic trainers put into helping student-athletes become the best version of themselves.

Women’s Volleyball would like to give a special thank you to our athletic trainer, Joe Scarcella. With over 20 years in the program, he has supported every student-athlete who has stepped foot on the College of Marin athletic campus.

From injury recovery to injury prevention, we are incredibly grateful for everything you do and for always being by our side every step of the way.

Happy Women’s History Month 🤍

As we honor the women who have made a lasting impact throughout history, we also recognize that the opportunities we have today exist because of the women who stood up, spoke out, and paved the way for future generations. Their courage allows us to pursue our passions and do what we love.

In celebration, let’s highlight the Marin volleyball athletes and take a look at what they enjoy doing in their free time and what they choose to surround themselves with.
