🥎 WEDNESDAY NIGHT SWEEP FOR OUTCAST SMITH 14U! 🥎
The girls showed up ready to compete Wednesday night and came away with TWO WINS! Including one that came down to the very last swing!
Game 1: Outcast Smith 5 – Miami West Warriors 1
Outcast got started early when Kaylin Rose singled to bring home the first run of the game. After Miami West tied it, the girls answered right back and never gave up the lead.
Reagan Christopherson had a big game at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs, while Carmen Ten also collected two hits. Reagan gave us four strong innings in the circle before Raelynn Strouse came in and shut the door with a scoreless inning and 2 strikeouts. 👏
Then came Game 2… and things got interesting. 😅🔥
Game 2: Outcast Smith 11 – Outcast Butcher 10
After falling behind 7–0 in the first inning, these girls could have folded — instead, they fought their way right back into it.
Charlotte Sexton got the scoring started with an RBI single, Aubrey Schmidt ripped an RBI triple, and Carmen Ten followed with a huge 3-RBI triple as Outcast put up five runs in the bottom of the first.
They kept battling until the bottom of the third, when the game was tied 10–10.
Enter Kaylin Rose. 😎
Kaylin stepped up and delivered the walk-off RBI single to bring home the winning run and complete the comeback, 11–10! 🥳
And because apparently a normal celebration wasn’t enough… Kaylin’s dad decided the fence was merely a suggestion and went OVER it to retrieve the game-winning ball for his daughter. 😂👏🥎
When your kid hits the walk-off, you do what you have to do. Dad of the night might already be locked up. 🤣
Proud of the fight, energy, and teamwork from this group. Down seven? Keep swinging. Game tied? Keep competing. Ball goes over the fence? Send Dad. 😂
2–0 on the night. Way to battle, Outcast Smith! 🩵
