Today we mark what would have been Coach Witold's 91st Birthday. Today at practice we praised him and stood at a moment of silence in his honor. He was a man of principle and determination and we miss him so much.
We carried out his workout instructions in his beloved Forest Park as we continue to pursue the path which he laid the groundwork for us. To be better and stronger runners as well as close comrades.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
Today we celebrate the day with our family and friends. We celebrated as a team last Sunday at the NYRR God's Love We Deliver 4 mile race. We had 15 team members participating in the great race. As you all know they paid tribute to the coach before the race and we went out and ran it with our thoughts of him and what he meant to us.
Below are the results. It seems that Ray did not get recorded so I am not sure how he did. But Victor crushed it with a blistering 7:31 pace and placed 6th in his age group. Sue really went out and had a PR for a 4mile race. It was great to see Daniel back running with us and he and Andzej ran the same pace with the exact same time. Tara was right behind them with an 8:09 pace...Yay!. Karen was really strong! Nora F was right behind her. Welcome to
Marcos who ran his first race as a Witold Runner !!! Nora S scored second place in her age group and ran almost an 80% Age Grade!! She continues to amaze. Bob and Sarah fought it out only separated by 30 seconds. Brian and Alan were only a minute apart. Neal skipped to the finish to round out the team.
