It is our duty as a public business to inform our equine community that we have encountered a case of strangles on our property. We have a strong lead on how this issue came onto our property but will not be making any public statements on that behalf. Please know that we handle equine professionally and in turn this situation has been met with a professional response.

We only have one case on property and that equine was quarantined immediately. Since then, we have been administering nasal, lung and temp checks twice a day to all equines on property. We have no further signs or symptoms at this time. Our trail herd receives a third check as they are to be used on trails. If any equines show any symptoms at all, they are immediately quarantined.

We have been following our veterinarians advice as well as the lead in the state on the matter. We are taking the industry standards seriously and adding an additional layer of precautions.

This is never something that a equine property wants to deal with. Yet, we are facing the situation head on. We are being honest. We will continue to follow all preventative measures and protocols. Please know that we will always do what is right, even when it is hard. We take pride in our honesty. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Grace is still with us and proving to be on heck of a trail horse!

On trails she is totally collected and just as safe as my seasoned geldings. In the arena she is a bit of a "riders horse". Meaning she will do what she is told always but at times needs to be led by the rider. Never has she shown ANY dangerous behavior and to us that is the most important.

She is not a "dead head", she enjoys using her gears. She has an attentive mouth, so your hard motions mean something to her. She is responsive of her barrel, so your legs mean something to her. If you know how to ride, she is absolutely amazing. For someone learning how to ride, they would be on a safe horse but lack of body control and mis cues with make for a "messy" ride. I would say she enjoys trail more than arena work. That matches her ranch horse background as well.

Grace does have an old scar on her front left. After she was born the breeder turned the yearlings out on mountain pasture for two years. She likely struck a rock and it healed in a rough manner. We have had it vet checked and it is purely cosmetic. We ride Grace daily and she hasn't been lame one beat. We do ride her in bell boots to avoid her contacting her scar just to be safe.

Grace has been with us all summer and she has been a pleasure to work with. Never once has she shown us any dangerous behavior and goodness is she nice to look at. She is very well breed and comes out of a working ranch background. This girl is tough and athletic! She has a great W/T/C in both directions and has a professional foundation ready for anyone to capitalize on. We have not gotten her on trail at this time yet she doesn't show us any reason should would not be great there as well. She would make a great all around horse to be used for 4H, lesson programs, step up horse, ranch horse and more.

7yr old, 14.3HH, Gelding

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬. With that comes unmatched ride time and experience. He has been with us for 3 years now as a kids horse, trail horse, lesson horse, lead sleigh horse, kids camp horse, camping horse, therapy horse and more. We currently have one of the largest open to public ranches in the state so these horses see 30-40 hours of work weekly. He is worth his weight in gold. We are selling him because we have 5 halfingers and only need 4 at the absolute most. Comet gets the cut because I have a father/son team I won't split up and the other two are stronger than comet making them better pullers for our sleighs. So, he is fantastic all around but just not needed for our business at this time. He was also our ranch manager's personal mount all last summer when she had any free time. With that extra time she got him to really enjoy his canter, which can be rare for a halfinger. So again, he does it all.

Meet Nova,
Bay, mare, 5yr old, 16.1HH, AQHA

Nova was breed out of western pleasure royalty with numerous congress champions in her bloodlines. She is super well minded and easy to catch/handle. She has a great W/T/L and is ready to go in any direction. Lopes off from a stop. Would excel as a lesson horse, 4H horse, western pleasure showing or even a broodmare.
We will be working these horses daily so their prices will increase with their training. Pricing is YTD.
