Happy Monday! Let’s meet G…yes just the letter 😉

She’s Canadian originally but moved around every couple of years growing up - she’s lived in 3 countries and 7 U.S. states! After graduating from the University of Miami, she came down to the Keys for an animal care internship, and then worked as a dolphin trainer for a few years. 🐬

Most evenings she likes to cozy up with a good book, but you can also find her playing beach volleyball or going paddleboarding. She also loves to go camping when the Florida heat lets up!

Her favorite thing about working at Silent World is working with a group of people who truly love and care for the ocean and want to protect it. The cute shop dogs are also a definite bonus! Her favorite site is Horseshoe reef because of all the wildlife you can see, which you can visit on any of our 2-site snorkel tours🪸🌊

Happy Monday! Let’s meet Bill, one of our owners/course director!

Bill is originally from Georgia and he came to Miami for Law school, while working as a dive instructor. He realized he didn’t like practicing law so he decided to open a dive shop in Miami in 2006. Opening a new shop in Key Largo brought him down to the Keys in 2020 with Silent World. 🌊

He enjoys traveling and taking photos underwater. He has had the pleasure of diving all 7 continents and always looks forward to traveling to new places. 🌎His favorite thing about Silent World is the staff. Combining world class diving and a world class staff makes Silent World in Key Largo a great place to work! His favorite site in Key Largo is Banana Patch Reef which we visit on our snorkel and dive tours.

Jolisa is originally from Hollywood Florida, and she graduated from FIU. There she worked on marine research & obtained a AAUS Scientific Diver Certification. After, she moved to the Florida Keys to work in the dive industry & learn more about boating. 🌊

In her free time she likes to hang out and be social with her friends, paddle board or spends time snorkeling!🤿

Her favorite part about working at Silent World is the experiences she’s gotten and learning more about boats & diving…and of course our amazing shop dogs! 🐶 Her favorite dive site is Carysfort Reef & the lighthouse. This iconic reef can be visited on our Icons & Secrets 3-Site Snorkel Tour.
