International Bill Fishing Tournament Ernest Hemingway
Tournament celebration: from May 23 tq May 28, 2022, Edition 70.
Place: Marina Hemingway, Havana, Cuba (Lat: 23.0873 Long: -82.5048)
Characteristics of the event:
Registration fee: 550.00 USD* from 1 to 3 anglers and 150.00 USD for an additional angler. If you come in your own boat, the price includes: free mooring during the tournament, personal invitation to the welcome cocktail, award ceremony and farewell dinner for team members.
The visa can be purchased at the entrance of the Hemingway marina; you only need to communicate on channel 16 VHF.
In the event that the team wants to exchange fishermen, they must notify it and pay 50.00 USD. The guests for their part must pay $50.00 USD for each day of fishing in which they participate.
If you rent a boat in the marina, the price includes: qualified crew, fishing gear, baits, snacks and liquids on board each day of fishing.
Price of the rented boat: 3,500 USD (this price does not include the registration fee).
Prizes: The first three places will be awarded with medals for each member of the team as well as a trophy per team, the first capture will be awarded, the prize for the largest “dolphinfish” (mahi-mahi), among other categories.
In addition, as a novelty for this 70th edition, a completely free registration will be granted for the 71st edition.

Regulation: The tournament will be governed by the rules of the IGFA, with teams of up to 4 fishermen and the method used will be Trolling in the "catch, mark and release" mode. Only the Captain and a representative of the vessel will attend the captains' meetings. Each team may only have 4 fishing lines in the water. Fishing lines up to 36 kg (80 lbs) may be used.
