So our local middle school HOB had their first football game today. I am so proud of our kids and community. We had 100% stand for the anthem. Notably Mrs Jackie was awesome! Then we had a top gun fly over by our awesome Navy. The game was a nail biter with HOB Buckaneers winning in the last 20 seconds of the game. One family one country Conch strong

Coral Head Adventures will host a 4th of July party on the water. Start your day at noon, we head out to a great snorkel spot and enjoy some of the Key's finest underwater spots. Once you have had enough of the underwater fun, we will head to a nice fishing spots searching for snapper, grouper, or anything else hungry for a snack. Then we will head over to set up for the fireworks, where Dogs and Burgers are on the menu, and feel free to get in the water and cool off before the fireworks event begins. After the show we will motor back to the dock, arrival around midnight.

Had another great trip last week. Went deep for a few Mahi, caught this one and a couple of smaller ones. Then stopped and caught a few Yellowtail Snapper, come see us at Coral Head Adventures aboard the Ohana

We have had some really good weather for a change. Hosted two trips off shore. The Mahi Mahi are really looking good this year. After last year's bad luck on Mahi they seem to be on fire so far this year. Few Marlin have been hooked along with some nice sized Amberjack... Looks like its going to shape up to really nice summer. Come see us we are waiting!

Introducing Charter Boat OHANA (Hawaiian for Family). We loved the old boat however this one is more suited for everyone to fish, With a 12 foot beam not only do we get a better ride but also more fishing area for our guests. It also allows more distance so we can run to the Tortugas.

This young man wanted a big fish. So he talked mom into a trip before their flight home. Think he got his wish. Fought it like a rockstar. Not bad for a quick 5 hour trip. 20lbs. Very tasty blackened this evening.

Cindy and I would like to take time to thank each of you joining us in 2016. We had a great time and appreciate having you on the charter and hope to see you again soon.

We have some exciting news, although the Glaicer Bay was an awesome boat, as we worked throughout the year it became clear we needed a little more space for our larger families. While snorkeling was comfortable, fishing and diving were shoulder to shoulder, so we set out to find the perfect boat to not only satisfy our soft core fisher persons, snorkelers, divers, but also the hard core off shore, and tournament fisher persons. (Our ladies usually out fish the men 2-1)

We are proud to announce we have found our boat. A 31’ Tiara Open. This boat serves as a nice family cruiser, with A/C for those hot humid days, frig, stove, and full enclosed shower/head. For our hard core fishermen we have Outriggers, new trolling rods, and the Oh-So-Necessary Bird Radar to find those feeding fish.

In addition to that we have changed locations. We are now at Harbor Yacht Club Marina, a gated marina with Dock Store, Restaurant, Work out facility, Dry Sauna, Pool, and Beach front. If all of your party is not into boating we offer day passes while you hit the water.

Now we found the perfect boat we needed a name that fits our culture here at Coral Head Adventures. Cindy and I always consider our clients as an extended family. We strive to provide you with that at home feel and experiences to satisfy your needs rather than a one size fits all. We feel one size fits one. So when we shouted out Ohana, we instantly knew it was just a perfect fit. Ohana is Hawaiian for Family but also a state of feeling of home and community.

Here is Ryan and Ryan. We started out trolling and got on some Bonito, Black fin, and a Nice Mahi Mahi. Stopped at a shallow reef and had the Yellow Tail and mutton interested in seeing the top side of the boat. Nice day great charter see you next year!

Latest Lobster trip with 6 great guys. Water was near flat, crystal clear. Couldn't ask for a better day on the water.
