Key West Paddle Classic May 10, 2025 join paddling enthusiasts for a 12-mile race around Key West island.

WE ARE OPEN! Today the Florida Keys are also officially open for visitors! Lazy Dog looks forward to having you!

Happy to continue offering free kayak and Paddleboard rentals through Columbus Day weekend for locals, lineman, cleanup crews and first responders.

We're extremely lucky that Lazy Dog itself faired very well during Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately we do have some staff displaced due to uninhabitable homes. Other LD staff hasn't been able to return yet as without an influx of tourists, there just isn't enough work for everybody. Many many generous and caring friends and customers have reached out wanting to help. We've decided that from now until further notice, 100% of the proceeds from online and in Shack merchandise sales will go to our staff. Additionally, you can purchase gift certificates via PayPal (There will be no expiration date) and all that money as well will go to the staff. We're committed to keeping our staff employed and home in Key West. And with your help, we'll be able to bridge the gap.
