Holopuni Hawaiian Voyage '25, Leg 3: Kihei to Honokahua, Maui.
The Holopuni fleet travels from one Holopuni Hale to another, leaving our gracious host Kimokeo in Kihei to arrive in Honokahua and another gracious host, Zane, of the Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy. The first couple of miles is with a nuking wind over the starboard ama, this is followed by a calm sail in the lee of Mauna Kahālāwai (West Maui Mountains) passing by Lāhainā, before turning north at Kāʻanapali and heading back into a nuking wind head on. The last section had us tacking up the west coast to reach Honokahua.
