We prefer those with prior experience being guides, but it’s not necessary.
Are you fun, funny, enjoy educating and entertaining people and making them laugh then you’re a great candidate.

We are looking to HIRE promising applicants as soon as possible for training to become one of SNORKEL TOUR GUIDES, Training begins immediately. If you're talented at leading, instructing or sharing enthusiasm for snorkeling, and are great at making people laugh then tell us about yourself and your previous experience in a resume.

Skills Needed:
* Great at swimming, Funny, entertaining, loves to share with & educate people
* Loves creating memorable experiences while being professional and keeping safety a top priority.
* Excellent customer service skills
* Enjoy answering questions about marine life and natural history of the area.
* Ability to talk in front of groups
* Ability to work well alone as a self starter or with others
* Friendly, positive, responsible, a hard-working individual that is Honest

Job Duties Include:

* Taking guests snorkeling with our sea scooters
* Educating them about the area, reef and the marine life
* Cleaning snorkeling gears after each tour
* A self-starter that thrives on exceeding goals
* Tidy, Organized, Can Show up On Time Consistently
* Can keep A flexible schedule “weekends and holidays off”.
* A positive, friendly, adaptable, flexible attitude
* Enthusiastic & able to establish rapport, effectively communicate with reservation clientele in a fun yet professional and welcoming manner
* Able to Lift up to 45 Pounds or More

* Able to handle non-swimmer or willing to learn
* Able to work alone

Requirements:
* The ability to teach & guide non-swimmer how to snorkel
* Enjoy working in an entertaining educational environment
* Enjoy working outside in nature with marine life
* Have a good decent physical strength and stamina being fit is best
* Reliable; able to be present for scheduled shifts on time and dressed appropriately and / or available to cover shifts when needed
* A good positive attitude; have the ability to interact appropriately with a range of different people
* Can take instructions well and follow through & being respectfully to your senior advisors is a must.
* This is a drug free and alcohol free work environment so you can not ever come to work high or have been drinking.

We prefer those who have done this kind of work or have experience being, a Snorkel Guide, Dive Guide, Working on Boats, Free Divers and being entertaining funny have either leading workshops, seminars or retreats and / or are educators etc.

Maui Reef Rescue is a three month project dedicated to clearing lead, fishing lines and other refuse from the reef, fishing and swimming spots in south Maui. 
*
Once a week from February through April, 2021 an experienced dive master and environmentalist will select a different spot along South Kihei for a guided rescue.  Funds will cover the costs for fuel of the 40' vessel - "The Getaway" as well as wages for the Captain and one crew member.  Other costs associated with The Getaway  along with divers/rescuers will be volunteered.

Maui and her Oceans have been kind to us who live upon her and visit her.  This represents an opportunity to give back, helping her revive in time for the next high season of visitors.

Escaped the ordinary today one more time. Since I sold my boat I always wanted to try something new, something different. Today for the first time I experienced sailing adventure with my new friends on this hobie cat wave! The best thing is we can beach it anywhere that is safe and take off back. @ Maui Hawaii
