**Tuffman Series Angler Survey Update**

**Happy 4ht of July 2026**

The survey has been live for 3 days, and so far we have received responses from less than **28%** of the anglers who fished the Tuffman Series last season.

Last season, we had **189 different anglers** compete in our events, with an average of around **76 teams per tournament**.

We appreciate everyone who has already taken the time to respond and share their opinion. But we would really like to hear from more of you.

This survey was created to give anglers a voice on topics that matter — technology, rules, payouts, expectations, tournament operations, and what we may be missing.

Please take a few minutes to help us help you. Your feedback gives us a better understanding of what anglers want and how we can continue working to improve the Tuffman Series.

The Tuffman Series will be creating and releasing an angler survey for fishermen and tournament anglers of all types to share their honest opinions.

This survey will cover a wide range of topics, including:

Should tournament trails ban, limit, or create separate rules for certain technology?

Should tournament rules continue to evolve as fishing changes?

Should tournament trails operate like a business, run for profit, or simply cover costs? And what is a fair profit?

What should anglers reasonably expect from a tournament trail?

What are tournament organizations doing right?

And maybe most importantly…

**What are we missing?**

This is not about stirring the pot just to stir it. This is about giving anglers a voice and opening the door for real feedback from the people who actually support, fish, and help grow tournament fishing.

We plan to publish the survey this weekend and run it through the month of July — our month of independence. Survey will close July 27th, 2026, at 5:00pm. Results will be released publicly July 31st or thereafter for everyone to see.
