We raised $4,215 in match fees, donations, and raffle sales at Make Me Smile last Saturday! We will donate all of it to Operation Smile to help correct cleft palates for children in need. Great job, Cowpokes, and thanks for your generosity!

Here's a friendly reminder about Saturday's special match: Make Me Smile.

Make Me Smile is our annual match where we raise finds for Operation Smile. All the funds raised at this event, including match fees are donated to Operation Smile. After the main match we'll have food and a bunch of raffles to raise funds that will be used to correct cleft papates for children in need here in the States and many other nations.

Our involvement in this charity was spearheaded by Amen Straight who passed away a few years back. ALL who knew Amen Straight agree that not only was he a fine competetor but a first rate gentleman. We hold this event not only to help those in need but to honor Amen Straight and his contributions to the Gunslingers.

Range open and setup 8 am
Registration begins at 9 am
Mandatory safety meeting at 9.45 am
The match begins after the safety meeting

Thanks to everyone who came to the shoot this weekend. A special thanks to Nick the Wanderer for designing some fun stages and the herd of cowpokes who worked hard at setting up, taking down, picking brass spotting and everything that makes a match run smoothly. A special shout out to Andy, Trevor, Hunter and another buckaroo whose name I didn't get. These folks were there to observe but instead of just being spectators these gentlemen participated! We hope you'll be shooters soon. In the meantime here are a few pics from the shoot.

Because rain is forecast tomorrow morning our match director decided to delay the start of the match. The new schedule is: Setup at 10 am, registration begins at 11 am, the mandatory safety meeting will be at 11:45 and we'll start the match at around noon. Hope to see you there
