Traffic Impact Reminder!

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 20th. No parking signage will be placed along the race route to support the runner's lane on the course. Event participants will enter Kimberly as early as 7:25 am in the Emons neighborhood and will exit Kimberly as late as 10:20 am along West Kimberly Ave into Newberry St in Appleton. Check out the brand new bike repair station on the Papermill Run Trail next to the MSC and Butch’s Pizza! The station features a tire pump and several tools to assist in your next trail ride tune up.
The station was made possible through generous donations from the Kimberly Recreation Association - KRA and Fox Cities Greenways.

LARGE BULKY NON-METAL COLLECTION – Large items consist of those (non-metal) items that are too large to fit in the poly-cart such as: furniture, mattresses, carpet rolled and tied in 4’ lengths and not exceeding 50lbs. Large items cannot be placed on the terrace prior to 24 hours of pick up. This is against Village Ordinance and is subject to a citation. The Village of Kimberly does not pick up building materials and/or landscape materials, including wooden fence, railroad ties, wood chips, concrete, dirt, windows, siding, roofing and/or dry wall. Closer and closer to the Kimberly Fall Craft Fair at Treaty Park on October 3rd. A summer filled with fantastic KRA events - B**r League Slow pitch Softball, Paper Valley Fast Pitch Softball, and the first *annual* KRA Golf Outing - comes to a close and we celebrate it with a nice day for the whole family

The Kimberly Area School District is hosting a FREE back-to-school lunch on September 25th at 12:30pm in the Kimberly High School Commons! This event is open to Kimberly Area School District Residents ages 55 and above. Enjoy musical performances from the high school theatre students and hear from the Superintendent about important district information.

The Kimberly Water Department will be cleaning and flushing water mains from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning September 14th – 17th and September 21st –24th.

The flushing will remove most of the natural minerals that have settled in the mains such as iron, a harmless-reddish brown mineral that does discolor the water. If you observe Water Utility Personnel working in your area, refrain from using water or use as little as possible for 45 minutes to ensure that the water has settled in the mains. This will also help prevent any iron from being drawn into your water piping system. If you do find that your water has become discolored, refrain from using it for an additional 30 minutes. Then draw off the remaining discolored water through the COLD-WATER FAUCET ONLY.

Your cooperation during this flushing procedure will benefit all water customers.
