The organization is seeking design submissions for our UMBSA Summer Sizzler Baseball Tournaments. This shirt is sold to players that participate in our tournament (Upper Merion players and all other teams).

Snack Shack Spring 2026 As the season starts, we need your help to keep the Snack Shack running! As our group's biggest fundraiser—we're asking parents and siblings to sign up for short, easy shifts. Kids 13+ can volunteer, while younger kids may help with an adult. Without enough volunteers, the shack may not stay open ...

What a picture perfect Opening Day! We hope you had as much fun as we did. There were plenty of smiles and memories made today.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers, coaches, umpires, and families who made today possible. The atmosphere at the fields was exactly what we hope for every season—full of cheers, community spirit, and great baseball and softball.

Let’s keep this energy going all season long! Good luck to all our teams in as they continue their baseball and softball journey this year.

Our Opening Day Celebration is this Saturday, April 11th This event brings our entire UMBSA community together at Walker Park to celebrate our players and this game that we love.
Here are some initial announcements to help families plan:

ARRIVAL: ALL UMBSA PLAYERS (including Baseball, Softball, and Quickball) are asked to arrive at Walker Park by 8:30am to line up for our Player Parade. Meet your coaches and team on the Basketball courts by Walker Field 4. Parents, we ask that once your player is with their coaches, that you cross the bridge at 8:50am to secure your spot for the parade.

PARKING: The entire organization is gathering at the same time and location so parking is going to be a BIG challenge. If you live close to Walker Park, please walk! If you must drive, please use the grass overflow parking area by Walker Field 4. Address and location are visible on the attached map. Obey ALL parking restrictions in the neighborhoods around the fields. If you park in an area marked “no parking” or you block someone’s driveway, your car may be towed. If you have friends and neighbors that are also UMBSA players, please consider carpooling.

SCHEDULE: Our Player Parade will begin promptly at 9am. Players will walk, as a team, across the bridge from Walker 4 to Walker 1 where they will gather with all other teams for the singing of the National Anthem and a ceremonial first pitch. Opening Ceremonies will conclude by 10am and then games will begin. Your coaches will share your scheduled game time for that day.

Our brand new SNACK SHACK will be open all day and will feature a full menu featuring ballpark favorites.
