Meet Adam Redd, Lead Front Desk and Nursery team member at the Del E. Webb Wellness Center. 💙

Adam has been part of the Wellness Center team for almost three years and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for members of all ages. With a background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a focus in Animation, as well as a Biblical Studies certificate, Adam brings a unique perspective and creativity to his role.

Adam says his favorite part of the job is meeting a wide variety of unique people and building connections beyond just a simple hello. He enjoys getting to know members on a deeper level and helping create a sense of community within the Wellness Center.

What motivates Adam most is helping people realize they are capable of more than they think. He finds purpose in encouraging members to push past their limits and recognize their own strength and potential.

A fun fact about Adam: he enjoys Bollywood movies and music, as well as K-dramas and K-pop. 🎶

For Adam, the most meaningful part of his role is connecting with members and making each visit feel personal and welcoming.

His words of encouragement to members: “By getting here, you have already won a battle many others have lost.”

Meet Melissa Ogden, a Group Fitness Instructor at the Del E. Webb Wellness Center. 💪✨

Melissa has been part of the Wellness Center team since 2011, when she first started as a substitute instructor. She began teaching regular classes in 2016 and has been helping members stay active and engaged ever since. Melissa is certified in Group Fitness, TRX, Pound, Zumba, Strong Nation, and CIRCL Mobility, and is also part of Zumba Family Programs, offering a wide variety of high-energy and dynamic classes.

Melissa says her favorite part of the job is seeing people achieve things they once thought they couldn’t do. She also loves starting her mornings with a workout and enjoys the way it leaves her feeling more alert, energized, and ready to take on the day.

What motivates Melissa most is knowing how hard it can be to get started. She strives to make fitness feel more approachable, fun, and efficient for members so they can stay consistent and reach their goals.

A fun fact about Melissa: she describes herself as naturally shy and says becoming an instructor has been a big personal stretch — something that makes her journey even more inspiring.

Melissa proudly calls herself a “cardio junkie” and especially loves teaching cardio kickboxing classes. 🥊

Her words of encouragement to members: “It takes time to achieve your goals, and consistency to maintain them. You can do it — one day at a time.”
