Our first ride on Taz, it has been about 6 years since ridden. Lindsey said he feels like you are riding a bubble. They both did great!

Paisley had an AMAZING lesson today on Reba. She said "I can't believe I didn't have to ride her in a bit". Reba is much happier in a side-pull bridle. Paisley walk, trot and cantered/loped on a loose rein, and worked on the obstacle course!
We have this sweet 7 year old mare in our training program to evaluate for our client who has 2 girls who are interested in gaming activities. We have removed the heavy bit and spurs that has been used to ride with. Starting from a side pill bridle with soft legs. This mare has so much potential!
There is a lot that we need to do when going from a walk to a trot, making sure we don't pound the horses back, squeeze in fear, and/or balancing on the horses face. Assking her to squeeze because Smokey was slowing down when starting to post. Squeeze to speed up, then release, not to hang on. Good job Dedie.
We have a new horse in the barn, we will be training him for trail class and obstacles. Lindsey is excited to have a new show prospect.
Kayla is doing a great job with Sugar! We practiced cantering, Kayla has come off several times, PTSD is a factor in her confidence. We are chipping away at it slowly so Sugar doesn't get resentful of Kaylas balance. Personal growth and Horsemanship skills.
Sam had fun with the obstacle course this morning with Jasper.
Lindsey working on a passenger lesson with Jasper, and them moving into a canter/lope.

This mare is actually doing great in training sessions, she is getting pissier with the horses because she can't go out with them to play or beat up. Elvis is blind in his left eyes so she wasn't getting any traction with her display of attitude. Lol 😆 The joke is on her!!
Practice getting balanced while mounting, without pulling yourself onto your horse.
