Here’s the schedule for week 16 of 52 at Turbo BMX…..

Starting this week on Tuesday 4/26 through Friday 4/29 the track will be OPEN from 8:30am-3:30pm for practice, private training can be scheduled with in those hours, or full on Team Training with your own trainer/coach can also be worked out. Track can be rented for any amount of time within the daily hours listed above. Overnight camping is available (through the fairgrounds, I have nothing to do with that) for any night if multiple training days are wanted.

Full Day training camps with the above hours are available when school is out, inquire on rates and plan if interested.

Racing is every Saturday…Signups 11-12:30 racing asap. Riding and training will be happening after the races until 3:30, or until Spencer gets tired.

Team training, private training or birthday day parties. We are even planning upcoming community open houses. If your a trainer or a coach and need a track to plan and do your clinics at hit me up.

Coaches/Teams/Riders will have access to using the signup building to coordinate, feed, use as a class room setting or rest in.

Not many people know that on Jan 1st this year the Mohave County fairgrounds the property where the track is located was taken over by the Mojave County Parks Department. This is actually going to be a really good thing for the track, but…..with new management comes new guidelines for the fairgrounds property, which are all good. The main one that effects the track is the fairgrounds HAS to be locked up and EVERYONE has to be off the property by 4:45 Mon-Friday, no exceptions. Safety / Risk management department have been working out how we can get back to our weekly practices and clinics and everything else here. So right now, we can’t have or run a mid week practice or anything like that yet, you’ll know when I know. So, our local program which is more than just a single point Saturday race ended Jan 1st., tracks need more than one day a week to build a solid local program on. The County runs a much tighter and way more professional environment now which is welcomed and exciting for the future, lights for track are coming, but things take time. Not many people were aware of the old way here, which I found out the week before the national when they fired GM here who had been my only contact, all the National negotiations I did went through him only, the fairgrounds and the track split the parking and Motorhome fees, track did not get it all. After the national weekend I got to meet and face the 6 members of the board of directors (had no idea there was a board) when I had to answer to them and pay $4300 for the damages left behind from the national, unexpected expense, but it happened. I was very embarrassed for OUR sport when I had to hear what was done to the property by our riders…it was sad. I was told by the board, we could never have another National here because we couldn’t control our people. Fast forward..I will not run this track on top of any of our sister tracks that have a State / Gold Cup or a bigger event than a simple single points race, period. As for not running any races this year, as pointed out, I was here at least 5-6 Saturdays the weather canceled the others Saturdays but on those Saturdays I was here with the track prepped and ready, and no one showed up. On match 12th, we had two motos, since that date there has been a state race every week and the Santa Clara national.

I will be running a 100% FREE event here…but, we can’t do it this Saturday like I had hoped, the Carnaval is on property this week Thursday-Saturday.
