Kingsport Park & Rec is holding an outdoor youth volleyball league. Teams of 3-4 youth can still register at https://bit.ly/4vJNgk2. Open to girls and boys 10-14 years old. This is a great way to stay active, get reps, and have fun playing volleyball!

2026 APVA Volleyball Recap 🏐⏪

The 2026 season was a strong year of growth for APVA Volleyball across all age groups. From early practices to the final matches, our athletes showed commitment, effort, and steady improvement.

Throughout the season, teams focused on communication, consistency, and learning to compete together. Over time, players became more confident in their roles and more connected as teammates on the court.

Challenges such as rotations, serve receive, and maintaining focus in longer rallies became key areas of development, and we saw clear progress as the season went on.

Most importantly, athletes gained confidence and began competing with more control, communication, and purpose. That growth reflects the work of both our players and coaches throughout the year.

Proud of every athlete and coach of APVA Volleyball for the effort and dedication this season. We are excited for what comes next!!

Two teams. One strong finish at HAVOC 🏐✨

12-1 came ready in the 12s division and left no doubt. A perfect 5-0 weekend, not dropping a single set, and finishing on top with a gold bracket championship. ⭐️

12D also competed in the 12s division and fought through every point, earning 3rd place in silver to close out their final tournament of the season 💙

Proud is an understatement. The effort, the energy, the way these teams competed—this is what it’s all about.

• 12-1 placed 6th overall in the 13s division

• Took silver in the 14s division, battling through a tough 3-set second challenge match for gold 💪

• Finished 2nd in Gold in the 15s division 👏

• 15-2 placed 10th overall
• 15-1 brought home 1st in Gold in the 16s division 🥇

• Earned 2nd place in Gold 🥈

APVA will now be competing in the Rail City Rumble in Johnson City, TN on March 21–22 instead of the Tennessee Valley Challenge in Kingsport.
