The Company has the major Tchaikovsky ballets in its repertoire, in addition to classics like Don Quixote, Paquita, Les Sylphides and others, blending the work of seasoned professionals with dedicated area dancers. The school is housed in a newly renovated, 15,000 sq. ft building in downtown Kingsport and has 10 teachers, four studios with sprung floors, an arts wing, a kitchen, a fitness/wellness lounge and an art gallery.

Our Dance Movement class for ages 3–4 introduces young dancers to ballet through music, movement, creativity and storytelling. Dancers explore ballet stories, express themselves through movement, and build early dance foundations, all while having fun!

Plus, they’ll have the opportunity to take the stage in their very own Dance Movement Spring Concert

What a wonderful start to Nutcracker season!

Thank you to every dancer who joined us for Kingsport Ballet’s 2026 Nutcracker auditions this past weekend. We loved seeing so many dancers in the studio and are so excited for the season ahead! 🎄

A special thank you to Ms. Brantly Shapiro for leading our dancers through wonderful audition classes, and to our whole audition team for their time and care as we begin bringing this year’s production to life.

We are devastated at the passing of our dear friend, colleague, teacher and director Valeria Sinyavskaya, Artistic Director Emeritus of Kingsport Ballet. Her high technical and artistic standards and deep love of ballet influenced countless dancers during her tenure with us and across her lifetime. Her life and her contributions were remarkable. Her commitment was tireless and her love for this art form knew no bounds. May she rest in peace. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate her life. Our production of Vincent takes the stage this weekend at the ETSU Martin Center and we’re especially excited to share a meaningful local collaboration woven into the performance.

For the “Blossoms” segment depicting Van Gogh’s famous Almond Blossoms paintings, Kingsport Ballet partnered with Eastman to make costumes with Eastman Naia™ sustainable textiles, produced right here in Kingsport. The result brings together movement, color, local innovation and sustainable textile design in a truly special way.

Join us for a performance inspired by the life and art of Vincent van Gogh and see how creativity can bloom on stage.

Tickets are available now only via kingsportballet.org, through ETSU’s website directly, or by calling the Martin Center box office. Don’t miss Vincent this weekend, June 27-28.
