Mike Romano Departs Signature Fitness to Launch His Own Business

Kingston, NY — September 28, 2025 — Signature Fitness announces that longtime trainer Mike Romano has given his 30-day notice and will be leaving the gym to start his own independent business. Mike’s final day at Signature Fitness will be October 18, 2025.

We wish Mike continued success as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in his professional journey.

While Mike will be missed, Signature Fitness remains fully committed to supporting all of his clients. Our team of experienced trainers is available to ensure a seamless transition and to help clients continue working toward their fitness goals without disruption.

New Energy For A Historic Hurley.

My wife Dominique and our three children Lucas, J.T., and Jordan have lived in Hurley for 14 years. Currently I operate Signature Fitness in Uptown Kingston, going on +18 years of business. Having been president of the Hurley Little League, a member of the Hurley Recreation Board, previously elected Town of Hurley assessor in 2009, and a member of the Hurley Zoning Board. I have always looked to be an active, contributing member to our community. Now I would like to ask for your support as I seek to contribute to our historic community as the next Town Supervisor.
