🌟 Brazosport High School Community Member of the Week 🌟

This week, Brazosport High School is proud to recognize Landis Adams, a proud 1990 graduate of Brazosport High School, United States Army Veteran, business leader, and longtime community servant.

Since his days as an Exporter, Landis has continued to make a lasting impact throughout Freeport and Brazoria County. As President & CEO of Kape 4 Corporation and a local developer, he has built a career while continuing to give his time, leadership, and energy to the community he calls home.

Landis has dedicated more than three decades to serving others through organizations and causes including:

🇺🇸 United States Army Veteran

🏫 Brazosport ISD Leadership Alumni

🏀 President of the Brazosport Chapter of Basketball Officials and a member for more than 26 years

🏆 Selected among the Top 18 basketball officials in the State of Texas in 2022 and chosen to officiate a state playoff game

🎓 Vice President of Scholarships for LULAC

👦 Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County

🦁 Founder and Board Member of the Brazoria County Hispanic Lions Club

🏛️ Board Member of the Lake Jackson Development Corporation

🚔 Past President of the Citizens Police Academy for the Freeport Police Department

🏫 Past member and Vice President of the Brazosport Booster Club

🏛️ Past member of the City of Freeport Board of Adjustment

❤️ Recipient of the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for dedicated humanitarian service through the Freeport Host Lions Club and Lions Clubs International

From serving our country to supporting students, youth, education, athletics, civic organizations, and charitable causes, Landis has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to giving back.
His story is a reminder that the lessons, relationships, and pride built at Brazosport High School can continue far beyond graduation — through a lifetime of service, leadership, and community.
