Last year, in conjunction with the International Powerlifting Association, I organized and hosted a mega event in powerlifting history: The Baddest Bencher on the Planet contest. Seven of the best benchers in the world vied for the title of “The Baddest Bencher.” Every lifter attempted more than 1000 pounds—four even tried to bench over 1100 pounds. The winner was Will Barotti with a bench press of 1,091 pounds. Will Mr. Barotti be able to retain his title?

We’ll find out on on May 14, 2022 at the Baddest Bencher on the Planet II.

It is going to be spectacular. All men will be expected to bench at least 1,000 lbs. For the first time, women will be competing too, and lifting at least 500 lbs. We expect the “All-Time Bench Records” to be shattered. (In fact, I just set the new all-time world record by bench-pressing 1,125 pounds at the International Powerlifting Association’s National Bench Press Competition on Nov. 21, 2021.)

The event will be conducted on May 14, 2022 in conjunction with the IPA Worlds on May 13th and 14th. According to several audience members last year, the event was a thrill-a-minute and worth far more than the price of admission. Some even called it the “greatest powerlifting event ever.”

This meet is a must for all product and service providers to the powerlifting community. There are many opportunities for corporate sponsors at all levels, and we can create a customized sponsorship package just for your business.
