The 17 Black extended season team had a rough start on Friday at USAV club nationals, but yesterday they found their groove! 👏🏼 ❤️ Today is the last day of the tournament and season; finish strong and win your bracket, ladies!

We try not to overwhelm our members with constant fundraising requests, but we do hold one major fundraiser each season. Every dollar raised goes directly toward improving our club and teams.

This season, after reaching our primary goal of providing Hudl for every team, we were fortunate to have several thousand dollars remaining to invest in new equipment. After five years of near-daily use, some of our equipment was showing its age.

A few months ago, we purchased dozens of new volleyballs for both our girls' and boys' programs. More recently, we completed a larger upgrade with the installation of a new net, pads, and antenna system for Court 1.

A special thank you to Coach Devin Day, Jedidiah Day, Ashley Sutton, and Jaret Tuten for volunteering their time to install everything today.

And most importantly, a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraiser last fall. Your generosity made these upgrades possible and continues to have a direct impact on our athletes and programs.

The NCHSAA Board of Directors approved two new sports for next school year! Boy's Volleyball and Women's Flag Football will be host their first NCHSAA Championships next in 2026-2027.
