⚡️July Athlete of the Month - Kera⚡️
1. How long have you been a member at Kirkland CrossFit? Do you remember your first experience?
I’ve been a member at KCF for 8 months now. I tried many CrossFit gyms when I first moved to the area, but I instantly knew that KCF was the perfect gym because of the feeling of community and support I experienced during my first class.
2. What keeps you coming back to the gym day after day?
That same feeling of community and support is what keeps me coming back each day. I also love the feeling of accomplishment I get after each WOD, even the ones that make me feel like I’m dying during the workout 😂.
3. Do you have a favorite WOD or movement?
I would have to say my favorite movement is a squat clean, but Jason’s programming is so enjoyable that I’m excited for everything!
4. Do you have a least favorite WOD or movement?
I’ll never pass up an opportunity to get a workout in, but if I had to choose a least favorite movement it would be the sn**ch, mostly because I just need to work on it more!
5. What's your biggest personal accomplishment inside KCF? Is that anything you want to share with the KCF community surrounding your personal fitness goals and successes? Any recent PRs you're super proud of or lifts you feel more comfortable performing?
I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made since joining KCF. Before joining the gym I couldn’t execute even a single double under. Now I can string them together effortlessly (well, almost effortlessly).
6. Outside the gym what are some of your favorite hobbies?
Outside of the gym I really enjoy hiking, reading, and dogs!
7. What's your favorite place to vacation?
My favorite place to vacation is Puerto Rico because I love to visit my family, and the beaches there are some of the best in the world!

WE ARE OPEN and making some changes to accommodate the new rules starting tomorrow. We will continue our full schedule outdoors in our covered area plus tent, daily at home versions on Wodify, and Zoom classes M, W, & F at 8:30am. Grab an extra layer or two, signup for class, and come sweat it out with us! We are so thankful to be open and thankful for our supportive and loyal community! ❤️💪

Olympic Weightlifting in BACK! Starting this Wednesday at 4:30pm with Coach Jason. Jason has been Olympic Weightlifting for 12 years and was taught using the Hatch method which was created by Olympic Coach Gayle Hatch. He began coaching Oly in 2013 and received his USAW L1 in 2017.
