NEW BLOG: The Eternal Now ✨️

At this time we welcome the new year, but what is time anyway? We think time is very real, but does time truly have any reality? Scientists and spiritual beings have delved into the nature of reality and have come to discover that time is a concept of mind used to interpret experience. Outside of the human mind time has no reality. The popular terms “the power of now,” “live the moment”, “be here now”, and “the eternal now” point to this truth.

When attention is single pointed in the moment where is the past, is there any concern for the future, and what are you in such a moment? Scientists and spiritual beings, using different methods of exploration, have discovered that when being completely present there is no one apart, but only Awareness.

So if time has no reality and if we are only Consciousness what are we dwelling on when we say we are in pain, physically or emotionally because of something that happened to us in the past? What are we affirming when we make new year’s resolutions? Are we affirming the past, projecting into the future, or abiding in the present?

Connect with the inherent intelligence that abides in each present moment now and now and now and watch your past dissolve and the future unfold in a most mysterious way. This presence is the healing principle, as it allows the innate intelligence of the body to restore balance as we release patterns of tension. The healing arts of acupuncture, massage, yoga and meditation are tools that assist in developing this state of presence. Whether the expansive, joyful energy of a summer afternoon or adapting to life changes due to an injury, many of us are not aware of the gift each moment presents.

Why? Because we are caught in the pleasure/pain cycle. We experience pain and then seek relief through pleasure, holding onto it until pain again arises thus repeating the cycle.

This cycle is trying to teach us a lesson. The lesson is to simply allow the flow of life rather than to cling to pleasure or avoid pain.

When we learn to allow our moment to moment experience without attachment, we begin to attune to what it feels like to live freely in the moment, opening ourselves to the inherent gifts each moment brings.
