Last Month we gathered enough for a “SECOND Month” down payment and enough to keep our gear in storage, but we still need the Last or a "Security Deposit" … I’m sure you know the drill.

The East Side Pugs is a Non Profit Boxing Program that operates in the Seattle Puget Sound area. We work closely with the Bellevue Police Department and Officer Craig Hanaumi who is known as “The Skateboarding Cop”.
Boxing Coach Mark Messer (Ring Sports United) and Officer Craig work together to minimize “Official” contacts with local youth and help them convert negative emotions into positive energy and accomplishments.
Our Club lost our sublease during the “Fourteen Days” and we have to start over. We have a Go Fund Me account under East Side Pugs https://gofund.me/cd0e1689 and you can see what we do on Face Book, Instagram and You Tube by searching
We need your help in collecting the New Location First, Last, Security Deposit etc. and building a Heavy Bag Holder to suit the new location we hope to move into within the next month.
We haven’t given up on the relationship between our Local Youth and our Local Police Force.
It’s the “Old School” concept of a “Beat Cop” and a Boxing Coach in action as we practice Community Outreach and have Fun with Friends, the Family and because we are all “Fighters” … We do NOT give up!
The kids you see in the pictures and video are the ones who could most use your help.

Here’s a post I ( below) that I “Stole” from a “Cop” 👨‍✈️… Don’t Worry, He’s Ours ! And You should ACTUALLY read it !

The East Side Pugs is a nonprofit program at Ring Sports United that allows youth to earn their membership through hard work and staying out of trouble. If you know a young person in the Bellevue area that you think would be a great candidate for this incredible program, let me know” ( Officer Craig Hanaumi – Bellevue Police Department)

Thank You Officer Craig ! Paco is one of the first people to step in and help when we get a New Recruit, meaning “Show Them the Ropes” so to speak ( a little boxing pun there). Things like, NO Yawning on Deck, or answering a question or responding to a statement that they CLEARLY … Heard with “Huh?” … And encouraging while explaining that failing should not be their greatest fear, but rather Quitting.

“Playing It By 👂🏼 Ear - There will be No Structured Classes, however there will be some competitors there training from Four to Six “Ish” and you may use the facility while they are there. Your call, your responsibility, No Demerits for Playing it Safe. More Updates as the Weather does its thing 🙃

Wanted to get this message out sooner – But … Also wanted to check conditions after Jiu Jitsu was over Monday ( today ) – The Snow outside was “Crunchy” on top and the temperature has dropped to below freezing 🥶There is also more snow falling currently and the forecast says it will snow overnight, meaning more snow by morning and ICE … Underneath. Morning Six Thirty AM Class will be canceled and we will update with Face Book and E Mails Like This One as the weather makes up they mind 🤷‍♀️
We would prefer to be open in the evening, but just to be sure (“Safe”) Check your E Mails and or the Face Book Pages and Groups.
