Did some work this weekend on the Eggboy Gen 2 car, doesn’t look like much, but wiring barely cleaned up, hood release relocated, laid out fire suppression system.

Apparently we haven’t posted in 639 days! Weeeeelllllll here’s where we’re at!

Cage is finally coming along. It is officially 6 pointed! We’re wrapping up the seat relocation and the seat install the next day or so. Door bars shortly after that along with harness bar and wrapping up the rear triangulation.

E36 update time! Cage progress is a bit slow as Scott Izzy's Metal Shop has had a flurry of projects and orders to get through BUT the mounting pads are all cut and pad areas prepped to bare steel, the jack rails have been installed (along with a little bit of rust repair) and the dash has been removed!

Parts are starting to get ordered and showing up!
Our new NexGen Head and Neck Restraint is in house!
Fuse block for the radio and camera power is in house
Transponder is mounted
NRG Steering wheel quick release and Hub adapter is ordered
New fire bottle system

Anyone need working E36 window motors? We’re leaning towards lexan windows so speak now and force our hand ;)

So it begins. Dr side and passenger side front hubs literally fell apart. Spindle nut was so tight I broke a 1/2” breaker bar. Thank goodness for 400 ft/lb impact driver, and even it struggled.
