Good morning, KSEF. Sunshine today, stronger wind tonight and a warmer weekend ahead.

At the forecast point above the village: 61°F today and 44°F tonight. Northeast gusts may reach 37 mph tonight, with patchy smoke from 7 p.m. to midnight. Saturday reaches 68°F. The local forecast stays dry through Thursday.

Heading out? Check the roads first. The early Caltrans report listed westbound I80 closed at the Nevada state line because of wildfire. Conditions can change.

Good morning, KSEF. Cool mountain air today, with a warmer weekend ahead.

☀️ Today: 53°F high, 38°F tonight at the NWS forecast point above the village, elevation 8,268 feet. Sunny, with south to southwest winds gusting to 33 mph.

Friday reaches 61°F and Saturday 68°F. Smoke may affect Tahoe air quality today and Friday. East to northeast winds develop along the Sierra crest Friday into Saturday morning. No organized Tahoe snowstorm appears in the seven-day forecast.

Heading up? Check current Caltrans conditions before leaving. This morning’s 4:32 a.m. report listed a westbound I80 closure at the Nevada state line because of wildfire and weekday traffic controls on Highway 50 near Meyers.

Have you checked out the race schedule for the upcoming season yet? 🏁
Now is a great time to look ahead and start marking those calendars!

One of our goals this season is to send more coaches to races and provide as much support to our athletes as possible. Registering for races early helps us plan coaching, lodging, assignments, and overall race support!

The earlier we can plan, the more support we can provide our athletes. 💪⛷️
