At the PLU Crater Lake Clash II, these youth athletes from the Klamath Basin broke a total of 23 Oregon state records! Congratulations to these nine athletes! Records are viewable on the Powerlifting United website. We can’t wait to see how many records are broken next year!

Yesterday our team of Klamath Basin athletes competed at .united National Championships. It was an amazing day of powerlifting with all of our athletes doing a great job. Here are some photos from the weekend. Results below.
Miela Azamar took first in 60 kg Juniors and 4th in Open with a total of 295.5 kg setting a state record squat, and state and national records in bench, deadlift and total.
Zachary Chase took second in 75 kg Juniors with a total of 292.5 kg.
Brayden Deitz took first in 75 kg Juniors with a total of 317.5 kg.
Serenity Gomez took first in 56 kg Juniors with a total of 200 kg setting a state record squat and tying the state record deadlift and total.
Jace Peterson took first in 82.5 kg Juniors with a total of 502.5 kg setting state records in squat, deadlift, and total.
Avery Price took first in 82.5 kg Juniors with a total of 445 kg.
Dominic Rose took second in 75 kg Juniors with a total of 360 kg.
