The Campgrounds and Day use areas at Lake of the Woods and 4 Mile Lake are under management by Lake of the Woods Resort.
Lake of the Woods Resort holds the special use permit from the Klamath District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest.

Great Fall weather for Campers, Hunters and anyone in General who wants to get out and camp, cool nights and warmer days wont last much longer. So get out and camp again. Sunset Campground and the Resort are open with Dry Camping and RV spots with hook ups.

Hunters Supermoon Eclipse in mid-October.
Who wants to come check it out and make a Trip up to 4 Mile Lake to view it? The full Hunter's Moon peaks on Thursday, October 17, 2024 … and it's a Supermoon! As with last month's full Moon, the Hunter's Moon rises around the same time for several nights, so start looking for it on Wednesday, October 16!

Happy St. Patty's Day to everyone, a little reminder from the last time we were in Mexico on Saint Pattrick's day. May you all find your pot of gold today and enjoy the spirit of the day wherever you may be. For those of you looking for something to do. Just get outside today and enjoy it. We had a great dinner last night at the Lodge, the Corned Beef and Cabbage was awesome. Be safe, have fun and just maybe you'll get Lucky today.

Better weather than expected today
We are still planning the BBQ and band at 4 pm
Spring has finally sprung at the Lake. We went from Ice on the lake last week to 75 degrees and clear water by Sunday. The resort is in full prep for the summer season. We had a tremendous snow pack in some areas and are still plowing snow in some areas this week to get things open and ready. We're doing our best to clean up after mother nature's gifts this winter. The fishing is spectacular and the lake is very full. The resort is fully open but still working on installing docks. Rainbow Bay and the Marina Boat ramp are open and our Campgrounds are opening later this week. We will update information frequently this month. Thank you for your patience as we work to fully open all facilities.
