I met this handsome man Rocky yesterday. His owner and barn owner noticed he was having some significant lameness issues and was very uncomfortable. I did a good session of PEMF therapy and did some targeted massage work. He walked off much more comfortable than when we started. I think this face says his thanks ❤️

Beginning the search for a Barn 🐴
I’m beginning to look for a barn interested in leasing out a few stalls, potentially for a certified equine rehabilitation professional. I want to find the perfect fit!
Ideally looking for:
* 1–3 stalls
* Individual small turnout availability
* Round pen
* Indoor arena — smaller is completely fine!
* Outdoor arena
* Between Sturgis and Coldwater
* OR within 30 minutes of either
This would be a great opportunity for a barn interested in having an equine rehab professional on-site while keeping the setup small and manageable.
If you know of a barn that may be a good fit, please tag them or send me a message! Shares are greatly appreciated! 🤎🐴

Can you name a sign your horse might be sore somewhere in their body?
08/09/2026
This is First Hoosier-aka Secret. She’s a sensitive and slightly spicy OTTB mare. For those unfamiliar, OTTB stands for Off-Track ThoroughBred. She has been with me a while, for 2 seperate rehabs. If you’d like the entire story I’m happy to share. She has had some time off recently(because life happens and she needed some farrier issues fixed), today she got to work again. She LOVES having a job. She absolutely THRIVES with work. I think this face says exactly that. Here’s to getting us both back into riding.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding over the last several weeks.
I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting everyone scheduled. Between everything that’s been going on, I had to take a step back from traveling for a while. The good news is that I’ll be starting my travel routes back up in August!
As I work to get back into the swing of things, I kindly ask for a little patience while I get everyone back on the schedule. I’ll be reaching out to clients and organizing routes as efficiently as possible to make sure everyone gets taken care of.
I truly appreciate all of your support, encouragement, and understanding. I can’t wait to get back to helping your horses feel and perform their best. See you all soon! 🐴💙

🐴 The hoof is the foundation of the horse. 🐴
You’ve probably heard the saying, “No hoof, no horse,” but it goes much deeper than that.
Every step your horse takes starts at the hoof. When the feet are balanced and functioning correctly, the rest of the body can move more efficiently. But even small hoof imbalances—whether from uneven trimming, poor hoof conformation, or abnormal wear—can cause the horse to compensate.
Those compensations don’t stay in the foot. They travel up the limb and into the body, creating extra stress on tendons, ligaments, joints, and muscles. Over time, this can lead to soreness, muscle tightness, uneven muscle development, reduced performance, and even an increased risk of injury.
That’s why proper hoof care is only one piece of the puzzle. Supporting the muscles that have been working overtime can help reduce compensation patterns, improve comfort, and restore more balanced movement.
Remember, if you’re only treating where the horse hurts, you may be missing the reason why it hurts.
A healthy horse starts from the ground up. 🐎

✨ Don’t underestimate the power of a simple ground pole! ✨
Ground poles may look basic, but they’re an incredible tool for horses recovering from injury or returning to work. Walking over poles encourages your horse to slow down, think about where they’re placing their feet, and move with greater balance and coordination.
When used appropriately, ground poles can help:
🐴 Improve proprioception (body awareness)
💪 Build core and hindquarter strength
🦴 Increase joint flexion and range of motion
⚖️ Improve balance and coordination
🚶 Encourage a longer, more even stride
❤️ Rebuild confidence in movement after time off
Recovery isn’t always about doing more—it’s about doing the right exercises at the right time. Ground poles, combined with therapies like massage, PEMF, and red light therapy, can help support healthy muscle function, improve mobility, and make the rehabilitation process more effective.
Every horse is different, so always tailor exercises to your horse’s condition and stage of recovery. Sometimes the simplest tools can make the biggest difference!
