True peace of mind is always there, but we first have to let go of everything that obscures such calm and clarity — our confusion, our ruminating, our expectations, our inner chatter. When you achieve calmness and peace of mind with morning meditation, your perspective changes and you may start to feel more positively about yourself and your day ahead.

Try adding 5 minutes of meditation to your daily routine and see how much your mood changes.

False assumption on how to get results and lasting change:

- You should make drastic changes and big shifts, usually all at once.
-You need to be a disciplined, motivated person.
-You must have a lot of willpower.
-You need to focus only on habits.
-You must set incredibly high standards and be hard on yourself if you don't achieve them.
-Success is best measured externally, by comparison to other people, and in a binary way-either you succeed, or you don't.

These realizations led me to ask a completely new series of questions.
Questions such as, "What if results don't require drastic change, an overreliance on willpower, or excessive discipline?» "What if change comes from managing the way we think, and the way we structure our days?" and, "What if success can be measured differently, and can come from a set of skills that can be learned rather than something we're born with?"

This made come up with a gentle approach that will allow success to be measured differently. My motto: Gentle is the new perfect! Which mama if I focus on my approaching my mindset and method I’ll be feeling good!!

MINDSET + METHOD = Feel good effect!

Last night class was dedicated to better sleep and being thankful for the chance to close our eyes in peace. Allowing us to slow down, breath and be aware of our body. We used pillows and blankets to make the Practice even more comfortable and ready to sleep 😴

Yin Yoga is a lovely fusion of the ancient wisdom of Hatha yoga and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It's a slow-paced, calm and passive style of yoga that invites us to observe and surrender inward holding poses for 3-5 minutes allowing you to soften into each posture and release any stored tension or emotions.

These poses target the deep connective tissues connected to meridians (meridians connected to organs) in the body, helping to release stiffness, and increase flow of Qi (life force) throughout the body.

5 tips to create balance from chaos.

1. Acknowledged and feel the feels.
2. Honor what you need.
3. Lean into support.
4. Love yourself through the process.
5. Find your joy.

It’s hard to find balance when everything around you is completely falling apart in form of chaos but when you accept the now and have faith that this shall pass you will find not only peace within you but also balance. Balance can be in many forms, from taking a walk outside, writing, reading, setting up a goal or routine to better you daily life. Balance = peace of mind. Never stop doing what’s best for your soul. Honor yourself 🤍
