This is a brief synopsis of all our classes and events in October, so make sure to join us when you can. Unless otherwise noted, everything is happening at Champion Ballroom Center of Knoxville.
On October 11th we will be hosting our Fourth Annual Halloween Ball! Cost is $15/person, and tickets will be available at the door. There is an all levels, beginner friendly class included with admission that begins at 6pm, and the dance itself will be 7pm to 9pm. Light snacks and water will be provided. Costumes are encouraged but not required, so come as you are or as you wish to be! You do not need a partner for the class or the party!
On Thursday, October 16th we're hosting our Halloween Burlesque at The Boocherie show at 8pm! Costumes are encouraged, but again, not required. This is an 18+ event. Tickets are $25/person and will be available at the door or online at https://www.simpletix.com/e/burlesque-at-the-boocherie-tickets-236061.
On Saturday, October 5th, we will have a booth at Knox Pride Fest 2025 at World's Fair Park, so come by and say hi!
On Friday, October 24th, our friends at the The Satanic Mechanics will be hosting a live Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast at CORE Knoxville with a pre-show cabaret. This is the 50th anniversary of the release of Rocky Horror Picture Show, so come out and do the Timewarp again!
Our Beginner Social Dancing classes are on Tuesdays at 7pm and costs $10. Each class is drop-in and covers a different dance. You do not need a partner or special shoes! No preregistration is required.
Our Intermediate Social Dancing/Ballroom class starts at 8pm and costs $15. You do not need a partner or special shoes, this is also a drop-in class and covers the same dance as the beginner class. Some basic experience with partner dancing is encouraged for this class. No preregistration is required.
