18 intrepid runners and walkers braved the rain and puddles for event #281, our first 9 am start of the fall: https://www.parkrun.us/thirdcreekgreenway/results/2026-10-03/

We had 3 first timers and 3 visitors from the UK and Michigan. Thanks as always to our volunteers. We have volunteer spots open throughout October so please sign up or let us know if you can help.

See you next week!

Apparently there is something else happening in Knoxville this weekend(🤷‍♀️).

As always with cancelations we really try to avoid it but we don't want to run the risk of anyone getting towed this weekend because of parkrun. So we took an early decision to cancel.

Our usual parking lot will be used for game day or bus parking and while we may have a few spaces at the back with the game being so early this week it is more than possible that these will be full before parkrun even starts. Our volunteers might not to be able to find a space to set up. Tyson Park will likely be used for game day parking or may also be full by then. It is likely that there will be extra parking attendants etc etc as well.

Sorry y'all
