To wrap up the weekend, several athletes went to the Navitat treetop ropes course and zip line on Saturday night. Great experience for everyone who attended.

Blake Willingham left everything on the course Saturday—right down to the mud on his singlet. With a late surge and a full-on dive at the line, he powered past another athlete in an unbelievable finish!
This is grit (and mud).

This weekend, our athletes stepped onto the national stage in Knoxville at the Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships, and they didn’t just show up — they showed out.

The course was muddy, the hills were legit, and the competition was fierce — but the Knoxville temps were absolutely perfect for race day. Our athletes took full advantage.

Many of these runners have been training with their school teams — some since early June — and it was something special to see them all come together. All season long they’ve been racing against each other across the Mid-South. But this weekend? They united as one team, wearing blue, to take on the best in the nation.

From fearless starts to gritty, mud-splattered finishes, every athlete represented Memphis and the Mid-South with heart, toughness, and pride.

Parents, coaches, teammates — thank you for the support, the miles, and the energy that fuels this program.

Grinding since June… and it showed. .
