The First Tee of Greater Knoxville was created in 2004 to provide young people with the opportunity to learn nine life-enhancing “core values” such as honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship. Our goal is to help at-risk youth make a successful transition into adulthood by teaching them to set and achieve realistic goals, deal with conflict and challenges, and develop critical life skills. This year, First Tee Knoxville brought a new twist to the Kids’ Classic: Beat the Alum! Tournament players get a chance to go against 3 First Tee program alumni who all currently play at the collegiate level!
