Rippers had a great weekend in Knoxville in our first tournament of the season. We didn't do as well as we wanted, but got some good work in and finished with a 3-1 record on a beautiful weekend to knock the early season rust off.

We couldn't be prouder of the Rippers as they finished the weekend undefeated with 4 wins to pick up the 12u tournament championship. Not bad for a group of 10 & 11 year olds, we outscored our opponents 27-2 over the 4 games.

It's that time of year again!! Our winter hitting sessions begin tomorrow with Todd Stinson from Doyle Baseball Academy. Let me know who all can make it so I can assign time slots.. This is also open to anyone wanting to learn more about the Doyle system.

After a long day at the ball park the Rippers came up a little short and finished 2nd place in the Mercy Baseball Easter Tournament. We lost in the championship game to a great Warhawks team that we had beat earlier in the day in pool play. It was a long day of baseball and the boys played great all day. Although we didn't win, Runner Up is not a bad way to finish our first tournament of the season, Great job boys!!!
