One of things I love about retreats and are the walks and time to genuinely get to know others.
Taking the time to slow down, kind of 😉, and connect, to learn more about the people around, where they are from, what do they like/don’t like, what they have gone through, and experiences in life.
I love to learn, I seek to become more knowledgeable and to hear other people’s stories. Because I may never have that opportunity or may never be in that person’s shoes to experience what they have. But I can listen, hear their experience and get to talk about it with them.

Afternoon sessions at Retreat are geared more towards skill work.
We worked on breaking down pulling movements, specifically pull-ups.
One thing I’ve learned over the years of coaching is that we can get very excited for the next movement or the next skill, which can be great, but it’s also important to play around with regressions, meaning we pull back the skill level and work on the fundamentals.
One of these fundamentals are pull-up or chin-up negatives. Doing 3-4 reps with a 3 sec negative for 3-4 sets can help improve your pulling strength.

I love coaching. I love helping people. I love traveling.
Fitness has always been an outlet for me. To help other others not just physically but also mentally and emotionally but it’s all tied together.
Being able to travel with to coach and do what I love is a blessing.
What you see here is just a sliver of hard work, endless hours over the weeks, months and years (over 17 years) coaching, teaching, studying, learning, and constantly challenging myself to improve. For myself, so I can then in turn help others.
