Happy 4th of July to everyone! May you each have a safe and blessed holiday week... please remember the reason for our celebrations, and all those who have or are serving to protect our freedoms! God speed to you and yours!

Everyone please remember that today is not a day of celebration, but a day of remembrance for all those that have served, sacrificed and given their all for our freedoms. As we remember, let us say thank you and honor each man and woman who have placed their lives on the line so that we may enjoy our cookouts, our parties, our days at the pool or lake. Please take the opportunity to thank the family members of a veteran, as they, too, have sacrificed much. Hope everyone has a very Happy Memorial Day, and stay safe!

Soldier Makes Ultimate Sacrifice - Killed Saving Afghan Girl
A U.S. soldier made the ultimate sacrifice when he was killed saving an Afghan child two weeks ago. Most stories told from Afghanistan involve things that U.S. Soldiers get in trouble for — but stories like this one are out there and are rarely told.
