They came, they've seen, they've conquered. 60 Hours of perseverance, grit, survival and endurance. The Students faced harsh freezing conditions in a wonderful Slovakian mountains with barely any food, zero sleep and a dream to finish. They lived the way, that the folk would live hundreds of years ago, during the Jánošík times. And what an adventure it was!

‘Adventure’

I think this is the first time I’ve operated in an environment like this since I left the Royal Marines! I’m a different person now, with more experience… but as my feet begin to get cold… that feeling of “what am I doing here” creeps into my mind. Why would I put my body through this? Why would I enter the depth of discomfort yet again…. I guess the answer lies with the concept that there is no growth without hardship, I’m now in a place where I want continued growth throughout my life and as such, I need to remember what I’ve achieved in the past and combine it with what I know now! Negative talk and self degradation isn’t something that I want in my life.

Thank you to .global and for kitting me out in the amazing new clothing line! I wish they did socks and my feet are the only thing that’s cold!
