Thank you to everyone who came to tryouts this past week for their patience. This was challenging this year with the number of kids that came to tryouts.

We will have multiple teams this year for West Valley Baseball across the Varsity and JV divisions of the MS league. The names below will be part of the program with team assignments being finalized this fall.

Reminder tryouts tonight for 7th and 8th grade 530-830 tonight at Bearden HS.

Tryout update.

After some discussion with the coaches we have decided to hold off on announcing the 6th grade team until after we complete tryouts for the 7th and 8th grade on Monday.

We know the boys are anxious to hear but we need to get ever grade done to make a final decision.

We have had some questions regarding who can tryout for WV Baseball so we wanted to post some info.

Middle School Baseball in Knox Co is unsanctioned so technically you can play anywhere but we limit the WV teams to any players that are attending WV, zoned to attend Bearden HS or homeschooled and zoned for either WV or Bearden HS.

Due to the weather forecast this evening we are cancelling tonight’s night of tryouts and moving them to next Monday 5:30-8:30. Hopefully weather will cooperate next week.

Tomorrow and Wed for the 6th grade are still on as planned.

Please come with baseball gear and if possible a jersey with a name on the back or atleast a number.

Due to the number of registrations we will have 2 nights for the 6th graders. Players will need to be there both nights.
Tuesday 8/18 and Wednesday 8/19
6:00-8:00
