❄️ Fall/Winter riding clinic next week ❄️

Next Tuesday Dec 2nd at 6pm we’ll be hosting an info clinic for those looking for some knowledge or inspiration to help keep the wheels spinning all year! Clothing necessities, which trails and types of riding are ideal, lighting options, and bike setup questions will all be covered.

Looking out the window it’s easy to get discouraged by the changing seasons but everyone here at the shop agrees that the coming seasons are some of our favorites for riding. Find some new info, get inspired, or just come to enjoy some after hours time with our crew. Spread the word!

The leaves are falling, temps are dropping, and the vibes of our favorite annual party are in the air. And this year the Harper’s Fall Fest Social Ride is back!

We roll out from the Harper’s tent at high noon, two groups deep: one mellow, one spicy, both chasing fall colors and bad decisions. The mellow loop will be South Loop–sized, the spicier one adds a few extra tasty bits. Mid-ride snacks/refreshments, crunchy leaves, and good company guaranteed — because it’s a tradition worth repeating.

Couple slick new builds from last week from opposite ends of the modern bicycle spectrum. And a few fallen limbs that decided to spice up an already busy week 😅

First up is a Vala special edition in a beautiful electric purple(Jon of course adores it). Built up with the new wireless XT from and powered by and .

Then on the very zippy but self powered side of the spectrum is gorgeous Ouray(yoo-ray). Equally at home on long days thanks to its plush ride and tall stack as it is racing or chasing KOM’s with its feather light weight and exceptional power transfer.

Save the date folks. Our little jam turns 10 this year and we’ve got plans and bands, see ya there.

Custom builds are always fun, but this one was especially satisfying. The frame was custom built by local friend and fabricator for a buddy that’s as solid as they come and was long overdue for a new whip. He put the build in our hands and we think it came out pretty well.

Collaborating with always feels good, but helping raise over 60k from this year’s Fall Fest raffle to help ease the struggles of our eastern neighbors felt especially good. Great work everyone and congrats to the winner! There’s still a ton to be done to our east and a lot of need so keep up the fight 🙏
