Good Thursday morning, Big Orange family. We hope your day is off to a great start and your week so far has been grand. Not sure if you have heard yet, but for the first time since 1970 both Alabama and Tennessee will wear their "home" colors when they face off in Neyland this year and Tuscaloosa next year. In just 15 short days it will be football time in Tennessee. We wish you all the best on this day and let's go back to 1967.

Tennessee linebacker Steve Kiner goes above the Alabama offensive line during the Vols’ 24-13 win over the Crimson Tide at Legion Field in 1967.

Both schools announced Wednesday that would return to color-on-color uniforms for the first time since 1970 beginning this season.

Good Wednesday morning, Big Orange family. We hope this week has been a smooth one so far and today will be just as smooth. Won't be long as we just 16 days until it's football time in Tennessee. We wish you all the best on this day and let's go back to 1975.

Tennessee wide receiver Larry Seivers out-jumps two Auburn defenders before landing on his feet, turning and running into the endzone for one of two touchdown in the Vols’ 21-17 win over the Tigers in 1975.

“Seivers is the best receiver I’ve ever coached against at Tennessee… I don’t think Tennessee has ever had a better pass receiver,” Auburn head coach Ralph “Shug” Jordan told reporters after the game.

Good Tuesday morning, Big Orange family. Hope everyone has power this morning and is okay from the storm. Be safe traveling to work and keep an eye out for downed trees and deep puddles in the road. We extend our best to everyone for a great day and let's take a moment to reflect on the year 1999.

College Gameday was in Knoxville for No. 4 Tennessee’s game against No. 24 Notre Dame on Nov. 6, 1999.

The Vols won 38-14.

Good morning, Big Orange Family!
Hope everyone’s day is off to a great start. We are reaching out once again to ask for your assistance. Our athletic department is looking for individuals to fill our temporary laborer openings within our maintenance crew. These are temporary part-time positions that have room for advancement, and the hours are 40 hours a week plus overtime. Just this year we promoted employees from part-time to full-time due to their work ethics and being a great team player. The positions will not include insurance or retirement, but they are perks that come with the job. If you bleed orange and are honorable, highly motivated, and passionate about our organization and want to help maintain our athletic facilities, then this is the place for you. The responsibilities include pressure washing, painting, cleaning, and working at athletic events, some of which may occur during nights and weekends. This is a unique opportunity to work within the University of Tennessee Athletics and could be the chance of a lifetime. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share this information with them. Thank you for considering us, and we hope everyone has a wonderful day and Go Big Orange!
