I have worked at SafeSplash since June of 2026 and my favorite thing about working there is the friendly environment. Fun fact is that my art has been in museums and on tv before!”

“Hi! My name is Lauren and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Tennessee majoring in forensics with a minor in biology. I have worked at SafeSplash for around 3 years now! I am originally from right here in West Knoxville. One of my favorite parts about working at the front desk is that I get to interact with almost every family that walks through those doors. Working here has taught me so much and has really made me come out of my shell 🐚 !“

❌MYTH: strong swimmers don’t need supervision in the water. ✅FACT: Even strong, confident swimmers need an adult watching them around water. 🌊

Swimming skills are an important layer of protection—but they don’t make a child “drown-proof.” Accidents can happen quickly and unexpectedly, especially in unfamiliar water or when a swimmer becomes tired.

👀 Keep your eyes on the water.
📱 Put the phone away.
🏊 Know where your swimmer is at all times.
💙 And remember: swim lessons + active supervision = safer swimmers.

🚨ATTENTION SAFESPLASH PARENTS!!!!

We will be closed THIS Saturday through Monday, September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday! All of our Saturday, Sunday, and Monday parents don’t have to worry about scheduling makeups due to prorated tuition for September!

This week we have Ms. Belle✨🤩💙

“Hi, I’m Ms. Belle!

I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated with my Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri in 2024. I received my Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Tennessee this past May!

I love working in sports, especially getting to work with athletes, so joining the team here over the last three months has been such a fun transition. Swimming has always been a big part of my family, with a long history of coaching and competing. I swam in high school and have been teaching swim lessons on and off for the past seven years. I previously covered collegian wrestling for On Sports Illustrated.

Outside of work, I love reading and traveling! I’ve already read more than 50 books this year, and I’ve visited 30 states and more than 15 countries. I’m always looking for my next book or my next adventure!”
