NORTH KNOX ISSHINRYU

North Knox Isshinryu is looking to add new students! Here at North Knox Isshinryu we've grown tremendously since the first of the year but we're looking to add a few more. If anyone is looking to join a legit old school Isshinryu Karate and martial arts Dojo, look no farther than North Knox Isshinryu. We're able to add at least 10 more students at present with the ability to add more classes in the future if needed. Accepting ages 5 and up. Here at North Knox Isshinryu we specialize in family classes with many parents training at the same time as their children. We are an award winning program with several of our members consistently winning in martial arts tournaments as well as competing and winning in both kickboxing and MMA. We encourage you to come join this too notch dojo in Northeast Knox County!

Looking for something positive and confidence building for your child?

Team N.K.I. Karate is now enrolling new students and we would love to welcome your family into our dojo.

Our program focuses on more than just karate. We help kids build confidence, discipline, respect, and self control. These are skills they carry with them at home, at school, and in everyday life. Our students stay active, make friends, and grow in a supportive environment where they feel proud of their progress.

The first week is free so your child can try it out with no pressure.

The cost is $100 per month for the first student and $50 per month for each additional family member. Many families train together and love learning side by side.

Classes are open to kids, teens, and adults.

Training takes place at the Arminda Community Center

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM
Saturdays from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM

Our first tournament of the year is coming up at Bryan College on February 7th, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Come support our students and see what Team N.K.I. is all about.
