One of the best parts of this weekend was the opportunity to compete against so many great teams at the NCS Tennessee State Championship. While we got to battle some familiar Knoxville friends, we also had the chance to face several new teams and experience competition outside of what we’re used to.

We especially want to give a special shoutout to VBA 7U Vegas Gold and their outstanding coaching staff. We had the opportunity to play them twice on Sunday, including in the championship, and both times they were absolute class acts.

Their players competed hard, their coaches led with integrity, and their fans showed incredible sportsmanship. They were simply a pleasure to be around all day. The competition was tough, competitive, and exactly the kind of baseball experience youth sports should be about... challenging, respectful, and fun for everyone involved. 💙⚾️

We want to sincerely thank VBA 7U Vegas Gold for welcoming us to Alabama and helping create such a positive experience for our boys, families, and coaches.

What an incredible finish to an unforgettable weekend! After coming into bracket play as the 11 seed out of 12 teams, the Royals put together an unbelievable run going a perfect 4–0 today to bring home the Silver Bracket Championship! 💙🔥

The heat was relentless, the competition was tough, and every game demanded everything these boys had but they never let up. They battled through every inning with grit and determination, proving exactly what Royals baseball is all about. 👊⚾️

The best part? This was a true team victory. Every single player made a huge impact throughout the day, bringing big energy, stepping up in key moments, and giving everything they had for each other. We could not be more proud of the way they competed and supported one another. 👑💙

A huge special shoutout to our parents for making this weekend such a success. From the travel and support to the nonstop encouragement, we truly could not do this without this amazing group of people. You are such a huge part of what makes this team special.

And major props to our coaches, who battled the heat right alongside these boys and continued to be the steady, positive influence they need. Your leadership, encouragement, and belief in this team make all the difference.

From the 11 seed to CHAMPIONS... what a statement by this group of Royals. 👑⚾️

The Royals may have gone 0–2 in pool play today at the NCS Tennessee State Championship, but the scoreboard doesn’t tell the full story. 👑⚾️

This was our boys’ first out-of-town tournament, facing great competition and adjusting to new rules and a new environment. That’s no small challenge for this group of 7U ballplayers.

What mattered most was how they responded. They fought hard, kept learning, and never gave up. Every inning was a chance to grow, and these boys stepped up to the challenge with heart and determination. 💙

💥 Hudson earned the honor for his strong performance behind the plate at catcher, highlighted by a great tag at home for a huge out.

We are so proud of this team for being willing to do something new, compete against tough teams, and keep battling no matter what. Experiences like this are what help build stronger players and an even stronger team.

Tomorrow we are back at it in the Silver Bracket, ready to take everything we learned today and keep competing. 👊⚾️

We were invited by our peers to join a group of some of the best young teams from Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama, and it’s an opportunity we’re incredibly thankful for.

To be included in this championship is a testament to the hard work these boys have put in all season. We’re excited for the chance to compete, learn, and continue growing together as a team.

No matter the outcome, this weekend is about gaining experience, building memories, and continuing to raise the standard for what it means to wear Royal blue.
